What: This is what it’s all about! Named after a form of interval training, the purpose of these sessions is to increase your aerobic and anaerobic capacity all at once. Using WODs, circuits, team competitions, and stations, we will work towards promoting functional strength while developing a higher level of fitness. Whether your goal is to gain/maintain strength, tone up, or lose weight, together we can customize the circuit movement by movement to meet your expectations, regardless of ability or level of fitness.
Evening Boot Camps:
When: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30- 6:30 pm, RAIN OR SHINE
Who: Great for anyone training to compete in 5k’s, 10k’s, half marathons, marathons, mud runs, Color Runs, Zombie Runs, Warrior Dashes, Ruckus Runs, Tough Mudders, and all other types of adventure races!
What: 1 hour of obstacle course training which will test both your aerobic and anaerobic capacities. Boot camp with a Fartlek twist! The course changes every session and gradually progresses in difficulty throughout the summer. On days we don’t go outside, we will do a mixture of HIIT training and strength circuits in the new fitness studios. With half racks, platforms, bumper plates, dual cable crosses, dumbbells, an entire cardio studio, and 47.5 acres at our disposal, there is never a shortage of obstacles to challenge you.
Where: Boot campers- meet in the fitness studio of the new athletic center off of Clayton Road.
The Women’s Class, Speed Play Class, and Boot Camp are taught by William Feuerbacher (JBS ’06). William believes in setting reasonable, yet challenging, long and short-term fitness goals, then devoting time and effort to achieve them. “Whether you are training to reach a peak level of fitness to compete in a sport or race, or just training to live a well-balanced lifestyle, we will accomplish those objectives together.”
