The JBS Health Club currently offers a handful of fitness classes throughout the week! Look below for more information and to view a class schedule:
The Speed Play Class:
When: Monday/ Thursday from 6:00-7:00 am
Who: Perfect for men and women of all ages who are looking to maintain strength, regain balance, prevent muscular deterioration, and lose weight! Additionally, the Speed Play Class is a great way to train for 5k’s, 10k’s, mud runs, and all other types of adventure races!
What: Named after a form of interval training, the purpose of these sessions is to increase your aerobic and anaerobic capacity all at once. Using WODs, circuits, team competitions, and stations, we will work towards promoting functional strength while developing a higher level of fitness. Whether your goal is to gain/maintain strength, tone up, or lose weight, together we can customize the circuit movement by movement to meet your expectations, regardless of ability or level of fitness.
The Women’s Class and Speed Play Class are taught by William Feuerbacher (JBS ’06). William believes in setting reasonable, yet challenging, long and short-term fitness goals, then devoting time and effort to achieve them. “Whether you are training to reach a peak level of fitness to compete in a sport or race, or just training to live a well-balanced lifestyle, we will accomplish those objectives together.”

Gaye Frederic’s Splashercise:
When: Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday/ Saturday from 9:00- 10:00 am
Who: Anyone and everyone striving to stay in shape! Especially those limited by injury or age!
What: Come exercise in the JBS pool! Splashercise combines cardio and strength movements in the water to create an incredibly low impact workout. Checkout the Pool tab above for more information.
Note: Splashercise only uses the JBS pool from October to May
